BUSINESS DISPLAY
Every year Oakham In Bloom presents awards to local residents and businesses for the best gardens and floral displays.
We are now accepting entries for the 2021 Garden Competitions – you can nominate your own gardens or a friend or neighbour. No matter how large or small, from a simple window box or balcony to larger gardens, we’d love to see your floral displays. Please complete the form below or contact one of the committee.
Secret gardens will be judged by appointment and judging for all gardens takes place in the first two weeks of July, with awards presented at our AGM in September.
BEST FRONT GARDEN
This year’s theme didn’t get launched, but the bloom team is hoping this can be rescheduled for 2021. However, Street Scene has fortunately been able to plant the flower beds in the Castle Grounds and landscape the area around the Tamworth Assembly Rooms, in a bid to make these areas attractive for locals and visitors to enjoy when visiting the town this summer.
Communities and groups, such as the volunteers who take care of our local nature reserves, businesses, and individuals have been getting involved with some exciting new projects that involve more than just planting or hanging baskets. We hope to share this with you during the ‘virtual tour’.
